“The Voice Brasil” is a Brazilian reality talent show which premiered on TV Globo in 2012, based on the reality singing competition “the Voice of Holland”. The original coaches for the first three seasons were Lulu Santos, Carlinhos Brown, Claudia Leitte and Daniel, all of them artists with international reputation. In 2013, Lucy participated at the programme that was watched by millions of people throughout Brazil and achieved a major breakthrough in her career. Her good taste in selecting the best songs for her performances was decisive for her success, that turned out to be an important milestone in her brilliant career. In the semifinals singing “Festa do Interior”, her wonderful voice and her personal elegance impressed the judges and all the audience, who voted for her enthusiastically.
